Maintenance of Lacquered Door Panels

To maintain painted door panels, follow these guidelines:

1.Regular Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the panel regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners or hard scrubbing as they can damage the finish.

2. Avoid harsh chemicals: Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents or abrasive cleaners on painted panels as they may discolour or damage the finish. Instead, use mild, non-abrasive cleaners designed for painted surfaces.

3. Handle gently: Handle painted door panels carefully to avoid scratches or dents. Use a soft cloth or microfibre towel when cleaning or handling to minimise the risk of damage.

4. Protection from heat and humidity: Protect painted panels from excessive heat and humidity as they can cause the paint to warp or deteriorate. Use tripods or mats to protect surfaces from hot cooking utensils or liquids, and ensure proper ventilation of moisture-prone areas.

5. Avoid sharp objects: Avoid placing sharp objects directly on painted door panels as they can scratch or puncture the surface. Use coasters or pads to protect panels from potential damage.

6. Regular Inspection: Inspect painted panels regularly for any signs of damage or wear. If you notice any scratches, chips or damaged areas, address them immediately to prevent further deterioration.
